Support comes in many forms. Being in a group of our peers brings us closer, allows “healing in community”, and provides perspective on our own situation.
At Survivor Wellness, there are ample opportunities for peer & community support, conversation groups, and activities such as walking & gardening together.
Offered at no cost for cancer survivors and their caregivers.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY: Our certified Craniosacral Therapist, Aubree, provides gentle sessions to support health and healing via light tough and easeful manipulation of limbs. A craniosacral therapy session is held with the client fully-clothed while resting on a massage table.
EMBODIED LIFE COACHING: Through a combination of interactive conversation and easeful movement, our certified Life Coach (and Qigong instructor), Lisa, helps members navigate their next steps in life. Sessions involve both conversation and movement, and are held in the Cottage or 59 House.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE: Licensed Massage Therapist Graham is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a nurturing support for your lymphatic system. Through gentle, precise techniques, MLD helps to stimulate the natural movement of lymph fluids, aiding in waste removal, reducing swelling, and enhancing immune function. Whether you’re navigating post-surgical recovery, dealing with acute injuries, or managing chronic conditions like lymphedema, MLD offers a gentle yet effective pathway to relief and healing. An MLD session is held on a massage table with appropriate draping for the client’s comfort, and involves touch.
MASSAGE THERAPY: Our licensed professional Massage Therapist (LMT), Kiera, is trained in oncology-specific techniques for those undergoing and beyond cancer treatment. A massage therapy session is held on a massage table with appropriate draping for the client’s comfort, and involves touch.
REIKI: Our certified Reiki providers, Meg, Monalisa, James and Amy use light touch, sound and awareness to gently stimulate healing from inside and increase flow of life force. A reiki session is held with the client fully-clothed while resting on a massage table, and involves light or no touch.
YOGA & SOMATIC MOVEMENT THERAPY: Our certified Yoga & Somatic Movement Therapist (and Executive Director) Dana works via dynamic interaction to address bio-psycho-social or body-mind-spirit issues to enhance self-awareness through a combination of movement, stillness, static poses, relaxation, and mindfulness practices. Different from a traditional yoga class, yoga therapy is an opportunity to co-create a healing practice for yourself. A yoga therapy session is held in the yoga studio, and the client is recommended to wear comfortable clothes that they can move easily in. There is no need for special gear or prior knowledge of yoga.
