The Wellness Institute (previously known as the Survivor Institute) offers education and training for students, interns and trainees who will provide professional cancer wellness and integrative oncology services and support in the future.
The Wellness Institute offers opportunities in cancer wellness and integrative health care fields, such as:
- Mental Health Counseling
- Acupuncture
- Massage Therapy
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Reiki
- Craniosacral Therapy
- Yoga Therapy
- And other modalities
The Wellness Institute offers opportunities for INTERNS & TRAINEES under clinical supervision who are currently in certification/licensing programs to become integrative health care professionals, to provide free services and programming for Survivor Wellness community members. Interns and trainees donate their services in exchange for educational opportunities and supervision; some interns may be eligible to receive a stipend.
