Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30 pm
Held weekly in the front room of the 59 House, open to members and non-members.
Wednesday Night Support Group is an in-person, peer support group for all cancer patients, cancer survivors, caregivers*, loved ones and family members.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, post-treatment, or a caregiver, anyone who has heard the words, "You have cancer" is welcome to attend. You may join this group at any time.
For over 20 years, the Wednesday Night Support Group has been providing peer support to help individuals handle the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual changes of living with cancer. The hardest part is walking through the door.
As our clients say, "This group heals things the doctors cannot."
Facilitated by executive director Dana Levy and other staff members.
*CAREGIVERS' Support Group is held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the back living room of the 59 House at the same time as the Wednesday Night Support Group. Details here.
NOTE: The last Wednesday of each month is a pot luck - come to nourish or come to be nourished.
